So you are interested in starting a juice detox! This is the perfect way to cleanse your system and reboot it by piling in a huge amount vital nutrients and vitamins that our body really needs.
By the end of the process, you will notice your skin feels better, your eyes look brighter and your energy levels are high.
The first few days maybe a struggle as your body will be experiencing some withdrawal symptoms, so to help with this and ease you in, follow these few pointers the week before you start your cleanse to help kick start it:
- Drink 2 litres of water per day
- Cut out all refined sugar (if you need a sweet treat, eat some fruit)
- Cut out all caffeine - have herbal teas instead
- Eat less meat and fill your plates with vegetables
- Keep alcohol to an absolute minimum (we know telling you to cut it out completely will make you want it more)!
Your daily Detox programme comprises:
During your Detox:
- Keep the juices refrigerated wherever possible, as this will help retain their nutrients
- Shake the juices well before drinking
- Use the straws provided as this is better for your teeth
- Consume no solid food during the Detox. Just drink the juices and shots provided - herbal teas are fine though
- Drink lots of water as you may experience headaches (this can be a withdrawal symptom of coming off caffeine and sugar). Hydrate your head! Around 2 litres per day should be the right amount
- Take hot baths with Epsom salts, this helps eliminate toxins in your skin. Scrubbing your skin with an exfoliating brush is also a good idea
- Drink only herbals teas during the detox period, as you are detoxing from caffeine as well
- Sleep as much as you can - take early nights!
- Take some light exercise to stimulate the mind as well as your body
Each juice & shot is numbered in accordance with the order they should be drunk.
Daily Routine:
On rising - drink a cup of hot water with a slice of lemon to set the pH levels in your body.
Take the Spirulina tablets - these will give you your daily dose of chlorophyll which will make your skin and eyes brighter. Take these with lots of the detox water provided.
No 1 - Drink Juice (Up Town Fennel - Light Green) - This juice is the ultimate detox drink to kick-start your digestive system on this detox.
Drink Water - You can sip the Detox water throughout the day or any other kind of filtered water alongside this. We recommend you drink at least 2 litres of water per day.
No 2 - Drink the Ginger, Lemon & Turmeric Shot - Be prepared that this has a really strong taste, but this is a great antioxidant which will build up your immune system as well as adding Turmeric's anti-inflammatory properties to sooth the stomach.
No 3- Drink Juice (Beet It - Red) - Take your time to drink this low calorie juice which is a great liver cleanser and it will also help to maintain your skin's collagen levels. The perfect juice to eliminate the toxins in your body.
No 4 - Drink Protein Shot - This will give you an added boost of energy for the rest of the day. Wash it down with some of the detox water provided.
Drink the Pukka Tea - This can be taken at any time. You can add your own teas throughout the day but make sure they're herbal.
No 5 - Drink juice (Cracked Carrot - Orange) - This carrot containing juice is the perfect afternoon pick me up, with a little more natural sugar from the oranges and a bit of zing from the ginger to aid digestion.

No 6 - Drink Juice - (Green Genie - Dark Green) - Again, take your time to drink this. This phytonutrient rich juice will help to flush out any acid in your body and leave your skin feeling and looking fresh.
Drink a Herbal Tea before bed - Something like camomile is great due to its calming effects on the body.
